MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 6th MARCH 2006

 

144.PRESENT. Councillor J B Jonas, Deputy Town Mayor in the Chair together with Cllrs: G C Ferguson and T Robson.

145.APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from Councillors B Pickering the Town Mayor, M F C Donnelly, Mrs C J Robinson, J V R Hare, H J C Herron and N Wicks.

146.MINUTES. It was AGREED the Minutes of the Committee meeting held on 6th February 2006 having been circulated, be signed as a true record.

147.MATTERS ARISING. There were no matters arising.

148.DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. Cllrs T Robson and J B Jonas each declared a personal interest in application 20060269. Cllr T Robson declared a personal and prejudicial interest in application 20060243.

149.PLANNING APPLICATIONS. It was AGREED planning applications in accordance with the lists circulated should be supported apart from:-

    1. 20060167. 16 Hallstile Bank. It was AGREED to object. A change to office use will reduce stock of low cost housing in the town centre.

150.THERE being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting. The next meeting of the Planning Committee will be held on Monday 3rd April 2006.
