MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 8th MAY 2006

 

165.PRESENT. Councillor J B Jonas, Deputy Town Mayor in the Chair together with Cllrs: B Pickering the Town Mayor, H J C Herron, Mrs C J Robinson, N Wicks, J V R Hare, G C Ferguson and T Robson.

166.APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from Councillor M F C Donnelly.

167.MINUTES. It was AGREED the Minutes of the Committee meeting held on 25th April 2006 having been circulated, be signed as a true record.

168.MATTERS ARISING. There were no matters arising.

169.DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. Cllr J V R Hare declared a personal non prejudicial interest in application 20060571 as he was acquainted with the applicant. Cllrs N Wicks declared a personal non prejudicial interest in application 20060499 as he was a charity worker connected with the applicant.

170.PLANNING APPLICATIONS. It was AGREED planning applications in accordance with the lists circulated should be supported apart from

a.       20060490. There was concern at the access for vehicles though no objection to the proposal for development.

171.THERE being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting. The next meeting of the Planning Committee will be held on Monday 5th June 2006.
