MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON 6 NOVEMBER 2006

 

 

208.PRESENT: Councillor J B Jonas, Deputy Town Mayor in the Chair together with Councillors B Pickering the Town Mayor, M F C Donnelly and T Robson.

209.APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE were received from or on behalf of Cllrs. N Wicks, Mrs C J Robinson, D Kennedy, G C Ferguson and H J C Herron.

210.MINUTES. It was AGREED that the Minutes of the meeting held on 2 October 2006 having been circulated, be signed as a true record.

211.MATTERS ARISING. There were no matters arising.

212.DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST. Cllr B Pickering declared a personal and prejudicial interest in Agenda item 5 for application 20061353. Cllr T Robson declared a personal and prejudicial interest in Agenda item 5 for application 20060785.

213.PLANNING APPLICATIONS. It was AGREED planning applications in accordance with the lists circulated should be supported apart from:-

a.       20061297. It was AGREED the proposed dwelling was an over development of the site but there was no objection to a smaller footprint dwelling.

b.      In respect of 20061332 it was AGREED that whilst there was no major objections to the proposals, the Planning Committee should consider how the proposal blended with the remainder of the frontages on the street.

214.THERE being no further business the Chairman closed the meeting. The next meeting of the Planning Committee will be held on Monday 4 December 2006.
