Your Councillors

Hexham Council meets in the Council Chamber, Prospect House, Hexham at 7.30 pm, usually on the first Monday each month. The scheduled dates for 2008 are 7 Jan; 4 Feb; 3 March; 7 April; 12 May; 2 June; 7 July; 4 Aug; 1 September; 6 October; 3 November and 1 December. Each meeting is advertised with the Agenda on the Council notice board at the Moot Hall archway.

Every Council meeting is open to the public. A Town meeting is held in May unless an election dictates otherwise. The Town meeting is for Hexham residents and at the meeting any matter of concern or interest which relates primarily to Hexham can be raised for discussion.
