Hexham Town Council Supports Organisations Providing Vouchers or Meals for Children this Half Term Break who would usually Benefit from Free School Meals

Hexham Town Council has decided to provide support to organisations and businesses in the town which are providing vouchers or meals to children who are not benefiting from free school meals during the present half term break. Organisations and businesses are invited to contact the Council (clerk@hexhamtowncouncil.gov.uk) if they wish to benefit from this funding from the Council’s Covid emergency fund.

Bob Hull, Mayor of Hexham, said “the Council is happy to be able to support the efforts of bodies in the town which have generously come forward this week to provide vouchers or meals for children who would normally benefit from free school meals in term time. We would also encourage individuals who need assistance this week to contact Northumberland Communities Together on 01670 620015.”
