Vision for 2020
In 2013 the Town Council formed a number of Town Plan Working Groups who completed a Draft Hexham Vision 2020 & Town Plan 2014/15. This can now be read on-line or downloaded here. [Download not found] and [Download not found]

The Town Council’s working groups are presently implementing this Draft Hexham Vision 2020 & Town Plan 2014/15.
However,  the Town Council would like to know your views,  suggestions,  objections or comments,  so please send them by email here or write to Hexham Town Council,  Council Office,  St Andrew’s Cemetery,  Hexham NE46 3RR.

REMEMBRANCE DAY 2018

HEXHAM TOWN COUNCIL

Is pleased to announce details for this year’s

ACT OF REMEMBRANCE

The parade starts at 10.30am on Sunday 11th November from Argyle Terrace.

Soldiers from “C” Battery, 3 Regiment Royal Horse Artillery, Army Cadets and Air Force Cadets will march to the War Memorial from Argyle Terrace via Fore Street, Market Place and Beaumont Street.

Mrs Bryony Gibson, Vice Lord Lieutenant of Northumberland, will take the salute at the March Past.

A Service of Remembrance and the laying of wreaths will take place at the War Memorial.

The Last Post will sound at 11.00am and 3 Regiment RHA will fire a gun at the start and end of the silence.

A very warm invitation to attend is extended to the people of Hexham and Northumberland and particularly to our Armed Forces past and present who, if in uniform, are welcome to lay a wreath on behalf of their comrades.

WAR GRAVES

On Saturday 10th November at 10.15am each of the war dead buried at St Andrew’s Cemetery, West Road, Hexham will be remembered with a poppy cross ceremony.

All are welcome to attend this informal Act of Remembrance.
