Transport North East is leading on the development of the Bus Services Improvement Plan and Enhanced Partnership and Schemes on behalf of the North East Local Authorities and the North East Joint Transport Committee. This is an exciting opportunity to improve bus services dramatically which is linked to future funding.
As part of the process of developing the bus strategy and the local schemes which the partnership will pursue, Transport North East wishes to consult a wide range of stakeholders across the region.
The bus project team is keen to establish a new stakeholder forum which will ensure the needs of a variety of stakeholders are taken into account. It is anticipated the stakeholder forum will meet initially in September and again in January and April 2022. This will offer you the opportunity to be part of this exciting regional project.
